Lace Shawl Rose Garden

For this scarf I´ve been looking for the perfect yarn for a long time and then I discovered this beautiful quality ( 100 % silk, app 500m/100g ) here . Started with 3 stitches in the end I had 391 stitches on the needle!! I love everything about this piece : the name , the color and quality of the yarn , the pattern ,  and I raise me immediately when it lies on my shoulders ! I´m ready!!!

:-) It's finally here ! Tomorrow we go back to England and thus there is a whole week in Empire dresses before us ! !! This time we are (for the first time !) t raveling with a rental car and on the left side of the road - so please keep your fingers crossed that everything goes well. Especially the Magic Roundabout in Swindon whom we will pass on the way back to London. So we hope that we will know by then how and where and anyway!

;-) I´m finally finished my late 1790s stays . It took a while, but other pieces are always "jumped in between". It´s entirely handsewn and I must admit, that I´m really proud of it - and glad that I already started back in April!! I bound the edges with white cotton twill. The channels are boned with reed. :-) I must admit, I´m not sure how
